Commissioned by Musica Electronica Nova Festival Wrocław for NeoQuartet, co-financed by Polish Ministry of Culture
My second string quartet is animated by the wish to articulate a more intimate politics around queer distress and desires. The text, written by Jamie Shi, responds to and cares for the gifts and contributions by Wojtek Blecharz, Nico Navarro Rueda, Stellan Veloce and Weronika Wro Wrzesińska. The video is a kind of dialogic overdub that paces this immersive sound ritual, taking its cues from the late Barbara Hammer.
